This DIY socket kit includes everything you need to socket your OBD1 Honda/Acura ECU, allowing you to install and swap EEPROM chips or emulators for tuning. Ideal for enthusiasts who want to perform their own ECU modifications at home.
Included in the Kit
- 28‑pin socket (your choice of style)
- 4‑pin CN2 datalog header
- 1.2kΩ resistor
- IC latch (74HC373)
- 2× 0.1µF ceramic capacitors (C51 and C52)
- Installation guide via QR code on packaging
Socket Style Options
Choose the socket style that best fits your setup:
- Machine Socket – Common for emulator boards (CobraRTP, Demon2, & more)
- Leaf Socket – Works with standard EEPROM chips (commonly used for basic tunes)
- Header – Required for Hondata S300v3 and similar boards that use pin headers
- ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) Socket – Ideal for frequent chip swapping without wear

Notes
- Compatible with 1992–1995 OBD1 Honda/Acura ECUs (P28, P30, P06, etc.).
- Installation requires soldering and basic electronics knowledge.
- Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with ECU modification.
